An EDC fabric with a dozen uses, based on textile technology and origami. Fold it your way and end plastic use forever!
(MADE in JAPAN)

We have combined a furoshiki (traditional Japanese wrapping cloth), with modern textile water repellency processing technology, and origami, the traditional practice of folding, to create an EDC "Everyday Carry" furoshiki with a dozen uses!

Our EDC Furoshiki is unique in the world due to Japan technological innovation in woven fabrics using a special unique processing technology called dewelry®, which makes the fabric "super water repellent" with a best-in-industry durability of >100 washes, yet retains its breathability.

It is this water repellency ability which allows the EDC Furoshiki to actually hold water...

...and to obtain a Guinness world record for the fastest time for 100 people to move 100 liters of water a distance of 100 meters with a furoshiki! See the actual event below!

The event, which involved more than 60 students from a local high school, as well as around 40 other participants ranging from 10 to 73 years old, consisted of a relay in which  furoshiki cloths (made of high tech "super water repellent" fabric) containing water were passed from one person to the next and poured into a large tank until reaching 100 liters. The record time for transferring 100 liters was booked at 5 minutes, 57 seconds!

2023 New styles

Beyond the Window
Designer: Maki Kouno

To the delightful place beyond the window.
In the days without convenient travel bags in Japan, furoshiki was very popular for travel. Think about the days when time went by a little more slowly than now.

Wrapping with the Night Forest

Designer: MIYA JUNKO
A forest illuminated by a large full moon. The unobtrusive pattern drawn in dark blue and white is sedate. Since the pattern is divided into two large halves, detailed pattern of plants and simple pattern, you can show each half as desired.
Picture
Topo Waves
Designer: Mo Chan
Goldfish swimming in the water call forth a cool breeze.
This familiar fish has been loved by the Japanese since the Edo-period (from 17th century to mid-19th century).
Picture
Tiger and birds
Designer: MIYA JUNKO
A tiger and two birds are combined like a trompe l'oeil. The corners are varied with dots and stripes. The fresh and striking color combination accentuates the outfit.
Picture
Flying whale
Designer: Rika Aki
The big flying whale has multiple doors. Get in through them, and the whale will take you wherever you want to go. The finely detailed cityscape, flowers and grass, and the colorful arrangement make this piece reminiscent of an imaginary world.

“Sakura” cake
Designer: Kotoko Katayama
It would be fun to have a furoshiki that becomes a big Japanese cake when wrapped around an object. Such playfulness has given birth to this Japanese cake-like furoshiki, which is fun to look at and fun to wrap up. It gives various impressions depending on how it is wrapped.
Picture
Mask men
designer: Masami Nakazawa
This is a furoshiki with a pro wrestler mask pattern. Masks of luchadors (pro wrestlers) with a vaguely humorous appearance are lined up like a mask shop at a fair.
Picture
Traveling farm
Designer: Chie Okamura
"This design depicts a lavish countryside seen from the sky. Within the flat canvas of the furoshiki, you can feel the height of the sky with the wafting clouds and airplanes. "
